What this ESP allows
Catalog shared by both pages. Each note carries its source, its date, and its confidence level.
On the right, what our emails say about it: matching, contradicted, never observed despite the volume, too few emails to conclude — or out of reach, when the capability can't be read from an email.

The pixel is an image tag appended to the email's HTML
Caveat Pixel appended at the end of the body, served from the client's branded tracking domain (not a shared Braze domain — see domaine-tracking). No pixel in plain text. Machine opens (Apple, scanners) are documented.

Braze uniquely identifies links within emails by appending an extra parameter
Caveat A lid identifier per link, used for segmentation and triggers — the click is a profile event, not just a statistic. Disabled per link via universal links; per contact via the dedicated field (see exclusion-par-contact).

Exclusion by contact Yes 1 note · 16/08/2026 Out of reach
can be turned on or off for each user profile
Caveat Fields email_open_tracking_disabled and email_click_tracking_disabled per profile, controllable via API, CSV or CDI, and visible on the contact record. Decisive limitation: "Available for SparkPost and SendGrid only" — the effect depends on the account's underlying sending infrastructure. The message is still sent.

Braze transforms your links using your branded link tracking subdomain
Caveat The client's branded subdomain for both clicks and the pixel ("to track clicks and opens"), HTTPS via CDN (CloudFront or custom). Consequence for our corpus: as with Dialog Insight, Braze clicks do not name the vendor — recognition through lid in URLs and the DKIM selector of the underlying sending platform.

Braze sends special instructions to the ESP to place the open tracking pixel
Caveat Documented levels: workspace (email preferences, pixel position), profile (disable fields), link (aliasing, universal links). Does the profile take precedence over the workspace? Not stated — the point to open up in the tool.

Limits of this analysis
It doesn't say what a brand has actually configured. A sending platform that allows turning off the pixel says nothing about which brands have done so — that's what a brand's report answers.
It doesn't rank. No score, no recommendation: capabilities don't carry the same weight depending on the use, and that weight isn't ours to set.
A “not checked” cell is not a “no”. It says nobody has gone to look yet, and nothing else.
The corpus does not establish a capability. A rate of observed pixels says what brands send, not what the tool can do.
