Postmetry corpus

What brands actually send

No message from this sending platform has arrived in the corpus yet. This is not a zero: it's an absence of measurement, and nothing is inferred from it.

What this ESP allows

Catalog shared by both pages. Each note carries its source, its date, and its confidence level.

On the right, what our emails say about it: matching, contradicted, never observed despite the volume, too few emails to conclude — or out of reach, when the capability can't be read from an email.

Caveat Default page hosted by Dotdigital (immediate unsubscribe from all email); optional preference centre; a custom form hosted by the brand is possible but subject to approval by the vendor's compliance team — notable governance. Multi-brand: settings can be inherited from the parent account.

All tracked links are redirected through your sending domain

Caveat An unusual architecture: no separate tracking CNAME is documented — clicks go through the brand's sending domain. Good for the recipient (the click names the brand), but our detection of the sending platform by tracking domain will not work on Dotdigital: recognise it via dm_i/dm_t in URLs and the DKIM selector. "Partially" because customisation depends on the sending domain (see domaine-envoi).

Limits of this analysis

It doesn't say what a brand has actually configured. A sending platform that allows turning off the pixel says nothing about which brands have done so — that's what a brand's report answers.

It doesn't rank. No score, no recommendation: capabilities don't carry the same weight depending on the use, and that weight isn't ours to set.

A “not checked” cell is not a “no”. It says nobody has gone to look yet, and nothing else.

The corpus does not establish a capability. A rate of observed pixels says what brands send, not what the tool can do.

Frequently asked questions

Does Dotdigital rewrite links for click tracking?

Yes: Dotdigital rewrites the links in its emails to count clicks.

Do your emails go through Dotdigital?

The sending platform is read from the headers, not from a claim. The report names it, and says where to fix the findings with that vendor.
